Another of Vancouver's true city neighbourhood strips, Kitsilano (like Kerrisdale, Dunbar, and Point Grey) was once a small village that now is in the heart of the city's Westside. Many independent shops, cafes, and restaurants stretch along West 4th Avenue heading west from Burrard to Balsam. You can spend a whole day here, or pop down anytime - it is 5 minutes from our house by car or 5-10 on a city bus
