The Bill Reid Gallery presents Kihl ‘Yahda Christian White: Master Haida Artist, a landmark retrospective from February 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026. Celebrating White’s 50-year career, the exhibition features over 40 works, including argillite carvings, monumental sculptures, jewelry, and canoes.
Curated by Sdahl Ḵ’awaas Lucy Bell and Gudangee X͟ahl Kil Amelia Rea, the show highlights White’s mentorship, Haida cultural preservation, and repatriation efforts. Public programs, artist talks, and live demos will run throughout the year.
